Would like to have but I already have a Wilson Combat 870 12" SBS and a S-12 8" SBS and I'm on the fence on this one.

I've been eyeing a S&W M&P .40C with the frame cerakoted OD, VTAC NS, and some trigger work be APEX.

It's one or the other. But if I wait maybe the hype for the KSG will die down and the price will be more reasonable.
KelTec says those $1500 guns on the net are phony deals because they haven't shipped any yet. They should sell for +/- $750 eventually.

My dealer has one for $1295. I'm debating on buying it or getting a S&W M&P .40C w/VTAC night sights and CeraKoted OD(just the frame).
    What would you guys buy?

I would not pay that for a keltec pump shotgun and I have 4 keltecs.

It's an $800 gun at most, I wouldn't pay over $700 for it myself. That would just be to play with because it's cool.

$1200 is what I paid for my 12" Wilson Combat Remington 870 + the Govt's tax stamp.
I think I'm going to stick with the M&P .40C and call it a day.
If it was semi-auto, then I might go for it. But then again probably not.
I've never owned any Kel-Tec's or shot one.

Been to the factory, they just recently doubled their floorspace. They had a whole bunch of these in production. I bet once they get the larger production space filled and staffed things will roll out quicker. Nicest bunch of people putting these guns together too. Its not easy expanding and finding good staff.

The savings are in your locally sourced Keltec repair kit,....

The one I handled felt more like a hard plastic Airsoft sized shotgun made from stampings and rough lazer cut parts, keltecs. $1200-1400 shotguns built w/ a dozens of button head cap screws. LOL,

I'll pass on the plastic shoty and stick with my S-12 SBS with a MD-20rd drum.
