The reason I suggested the extractor upgrade is because I'm thinking there may be weak extractor tension.

I would be willing to bet you are correct. A friends 870 flips the hulls out with no trouble. As soon as I hear back from AIP I will order the extractor and spring and maybe a few other items while I am in there.

If you really, absolutely, POSITIVELY want to be sure about the extractor, you could order a new extractor plunger aswell, but I'm 98% certain the forged unit and a new spring (just in case) should cover it if your extractor's the problem.

As for other goodies, AIP is a one stop fun shop. If I ever get some meaningful money together again, I expect to give them a lot of my business.
