Oh and by way of answering the initial question...I'd say the ER on my TA-33 (.308) is at least 2" and a good way to 3" it's definitely longer than the specs suggest.
I love this scope. I have it mounted on a DSA FAL with G1 barrel. It's a great general purpose optic.

My interest is starting to peak with these.. I'm starting to contemplate selling my TA-11 to fund one of these.
Is the Chevron the only reticle option??
I like the Solid Triangle of my TA-11, but I think I could live with a Chevron.
Anyone put a Flip cover on the obj to help out with the BAC??
I don't have exp. using them but I handled byg the amber and red at a funshow in Indy this past winter.
Amber was very bright but it didn't quite make up for the fact that it seemed a lot of similar colors were around and it started to blend in.
The red was not as bright but just as bright as any other ACOG I've seen. It was easier to picku up quicker for me.
The reticle seemed small but that was because the FOV was so big. It didn't feel like I was looking through an optic.
I'd have one if I could afford one now.
Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball...
As stated above, technically the eye relief is 1.90" when measured. The actual usable eye relief is more like 2-3". This is common with most of our ACOG's, the stated eye relief is shorter than the usable eye relief.
