For what it may be worth, the extractor Pat is referring to was RRA purchased from PK Firearms and was my second replacement for that day. The original one came with the bolt from EagleFirearms.net and the two replacements were new RRAs from PKF. All three were smoother than a baby's butt. Not trying to trash RRA or PKF--this is just my experience.
An extractor spring from tacticalsprings.com and new extractor insert remedied the problem temporarily (just a couple hundred rounds). After the second new extractor failed, Josh replaced it with one of his extractors (Colt if I'm not mistaken). I continued the rest of the class (another ~800 rounds) without any issues.
