    Question about optics

    While watching a show about the Miami Dade SWAT team I noticed some members were running M4's with an ACOG mounted behind an EOTECH. I have never seen this setup before. Does any one have any experience with this? It would seem like a really busy sight picture with both the ACOG and the holosight. These guys seem pretty squared away so I'm sure the concept has some merit. Personally I would rather use one or the other. Just trying to learn from someone who may have more experience. Thanks for any and all replies.
    I don't mind being a statistic as long as they put me in the "win" column...

    could it have been a magnifier for the eotech?

    hmmm those look like old TA01's maybe they hit their half life and are using the EOtech to illuminate the center of the reticle on the acog? that's my best guess.

    I think they should add an Aimpoint in front of the Eotech.

    Yeah, it could be. I typed miami dade swat in google search images, and that was the only image that came up with that setup

    Me too...i would bet its either a fake or somebody really did run this setup and had sum1 take a pic as a joke or something. idk
