I havent has any problems with MI's and i run them on quite a few guns. Call Troy over at MI or drop him a email he is a good guy and will get you a new site. I havent found any better CS than from MI.

I had a MI rear BUIS fall apart after about 700 rounds. I can't tell you exactly what broke first because some parts were lost in the grass never to be seen again.

I replaced it with a Larue and never looked back.

I'll resurrect this, since there are so few options other than MI...

I'm looking for a top quality folding front sight which is tall enough to mount on a low railed gas block. I bought a Troy rear and planned on a Troy front, but doesn't look like that's happening. MI makes 'em, YHM, GG&G...umm...

    Am I missing somebody?

    Are Samson's any good? http://www.samson-mfg.com/ar-15_html...F-FFS-EXT.html

I have the GEN 2 MI BUIS (rear) and its been solid thus far. It zero'd like it should and has held solid after 500 rounds. I'm happy with MI overall as well. I also run their FF rail system.
