    Decodediesel,

Is that a pic off the roof of the palace (Magic Mountain) at RPC?

I suggest that you order yourself a LT608 from LaRue ASAP. This is the easiest way to mount a scope on the SAGE EBR.
You need to supply the rings. For what it's worth, I like the TangoDown Advanced Combat Bipod.

To be honest I really do not remember. At the time I was operating out of Mahmudiyah with the Artillery detachment there. My Battalion was at VBC and I was at the VBC transitioning back from leave. My buddies picked me up and we went over to the range there for some long range "fun".

    Finally have a 7.62x51 again!

Basically a Smith Ent. built rack grade with:

    TRW op rod, trigger, bolt
The barrel & gas system was M80 heat treated, looks blackened like melonite...

    Notice the winter safety

With an 18 round mag, the whole thing weighs about 9.5 pounds. I dunno if I want to add another pound near the front with an ultimak + T1...

That is a sweet looking rig!

You have inspired me to take a similar path with a heel stamped Poly Tech I have laying around.
The best part for me is that I already have the UltiMAK and T-1

    Thanks.

Tell me how it balances with the ultimak+T1.

I'm real happy how this light weight MK14 tuned out. It weighs 10 lbs. 15.8 Oz. without the sling and mag.
