Well I have been a busy bee the first few days home. The Troy MCS is complete. I put the Magpul UBR stock on it, Tango Down pistol grip, Leupold 2.5-8X 36 scope, Harris bipod, Tango Down QD foregrip, Surefire M600 w/ KX2C head, and Troy front and rear BUIS. Internally I added a one piece NM op rod guide, Wolff high power spring, Sadlak extended mag release, and an SEI extended bolt release.

Very nice guns all. Makes me want to try out one of those SOCOM 16s and get a polymer stock just to paint it.

New here and have enjoyed everyones photos. Here is mine.
Sooots like a M16. About the same OAL & weight as a loaded M4. Have installed an Aimpoint for old eyes.

Has anybody used that stripper clip guide mini scope mount ALONE, in order to mount a red dot, maybe an Aimpoint H1 or T1? If it works, it looks like it might be a handy setup. It might even work well with a regular GI-style stock.
