I'm waiting to hear about KevinB's results with driving over the windowed Pmags with some huge truck.

I've been operating under the advice of an instructor whose opinion I respect. He suggested to me that the windowed Pmags were more likely to crack, but I did not quiz him further as to the source of his information. Based on that, I have avoided them.

I shall endeavor to keep an open mind, but until I read or hear about some more firsthand experience with the Pmags, I'll err on the side of caution and go with the standard fare.

    Grant,

I purchased 20 window'd PMAGs from you a few weeks ago. (Thank you for the fast shipping), and I had similar results. I have 3 6920s, and 1 LMT at this time. (Had 2 LMTs, father borrowed one.) And all of the PMAGs stick in all the lowers except the one I got from SAW. I was thinking out of spec Magwells, but on 2 Colts and 1 LMT? I guess it could happen, but I would expect better. I put my wife's finger nail file to work, and just a few swipes on a very fine grit, and it solved the issue. The amount I took off was very small.

    KevinB,

Thankyou for driving over yours, so I don't have to drive over mine.

Question PMAG AND FN Minimi / M249 SAW

Slightly of the subject of the window. But how do the Pmags stand up to full auto for standad M4 use, and has any one run a few threw a The FN Minimi / M249 SAW yet?

Interesting. Measure that the inside magwell and see what you get. I measured a LMT in the shop and it gave the following specs:

    Length: 2.59
    Width: .90

    Hey, Grant!

    Re: our prior posts....

The pmag drops free from my COLT. The magwell difference must be very slight. Standard mags don't do the same thing. I'm sure the pmag will run fine in my Eagle/Armalite after a little usage.

    Roger that.

As we all know, mags and magwells have a spec that they are allowed to be in. I believe that the PMAG is at the high end of the spec. This basically means that if your lower is at the low end, your going to have issues.
