Sorry, I think I got you now.
So the LED lamp that SF is using for the G2L isn't available, but the whole light is $65 and if I want a CREE to replace the lamp in the G2 I have it runs $40-50. Am I following right? Sorry, the heat and lack of rain here must have dried out my brains!

The Surefire manufactured P60L LED modules are supposed to be available for sale seperately in Nov/07 with a retail of $36.00

That is what I have heard. Personally, I don't think this is a good deal as you can get CREE LED's for the same to less money.
