    know you've gone and done it...I just gotta build one for my winter hunts!

    A 20 or 40mm can should warm my bunk house nicely.

    that is very slick... I had never even thought of this idea before... and I have like 5 of the 20mm and .50 cans laying around in the garage

    Thanks for the kind words. I still have not updated the stove yet but plan to before the winter months to try out in my GI pup tent. I'll let yas know how it works.

    Kool idea I got a 40mm can sitting collecting dust might make that into one. Use it as a heater and a cook stove all in one shot. kinda big though. I'll try it anyways and post pics here when I am done.

    pretty damn cool, ive only done hobo stoves with tins lol. This looks like somethin neat to keep n show off!

    Mmm...

    Now something pops up in my head.

    Jerrycans and Paint cans, those 4 gallon ones, squarish....
    I've used those paint cans to build field-expedient ovens, and thei might also be used as stoves.

    This one is bit more involved than the one I remember, but you might get the idea.
