    My new Rainierarms build

I took the plunge and ordered up a 14.5 mid length system from Rainierarms. Quickly, I want to shout out about what great customer service the Hwang's provide. I spent hours on the phone piecing together a build, asking for opinions, sending Paul into the warehouse to give "hands on" responses to accessories and he remained very patient. What's more, they customized a stock set up at no additional charge and assembled the LPK for free! I can't say enough about they way I was treated and encourage anyone considering or looking, to check them out. Now, if the damn thing doesn't get here soon, I take it all back!

So, a precursor to my build. I will post pics and range reports asap.

Battle Comp 1.5" pinned and welded
14.5" DD chf barrel with low pro gas block
    Vtac Extreme battlerail
    Mega billet upper
    Mega billet lower
    Thunderbolt BCG
    BCM CH Mod4
    RRA LPK
Wilson TTU combat trigger (already had this)
    Tangodown BG17
Magpul ACS, ASAP, MS2, RSA and BAD lever (replaced the BAD with the EBRv2)

On top is going to be an Aimpoint (micro or compM3?). I've ordered the H1 with a Larue QD mount, but am a bit undecided. Clearly went a different direction on optics. Officially settled on the Vortex Viper PST 1-4x. The scope simply rocks!Needless to say, I'm very excited about this setup and can't thank Rainierarms enough for making it happen. Also, credit you all for answering my questions and the great topics covered throughout the forums on M4C on building an AR.

The 1911 is a Dan Wesson Valor. Grips by VZ. They didn't have a name when I bought them.

Pin and weld job. Nothing to compare this to, but as long as it holds, I'm good. Anyway to cover this up?

Took it to the range and shot a few hundred rounds. Sighted the scope. Just a pleasure to shoot compared to my carbine. I am very happy with the build, the fit is solid and the BC is the flatest shooting comp I've shot. My follow up shots were much faster as a result. I don't have a scale to give accurate weight, but it feels well balanced, light in my hands and swings easily to target. All in all, I am very pleased and plan to run it till something gives - me or the rifle! Comments welcome.

Looks good, and the 1911 is sweet too.

One question, not just attach the magpul sling mount to the top rail on the VTAC tube instead of the additional side rail panel?

Thanks. I'm testing multiple locations with the RSA. I may end up with it on the top rail. I think the clip point will be easier there. It showed better from the side position.

That is a great looking rifle. I am thinking about picking up a mega billet set. Does that Tango down grip go on with no trouble?

Slides right on. Fits these pic rails better than the ones from Magpul! I plan to change the FDE out for black.
