Who Is Most Likely To Get Nuked Next...?

Given that sooner or later technology is available to anyone.

60 years ago super computers costing ungodly sums now have less power than the ones we use to ask questions on the internet. Satellite communication devices which were once out of the question for many nations are now used by the average individual.

And Hiroshima atomic technology really isn't that complicated and it is possible to get materials outside the normal channels. So we can guard the former Nato and Warsaw stockpiles all we want, sooner or later somebody will make one.

So who is gonna be the first one to develop an unregistered nuke, and where is it gonna be deployed?

My guess would be Pakistan, if the Islamists seize control and decide to get frisky with their own WMD's.

In this day and age, it's extremely impossible for major countries that have "da bomb" to pull the trigger unless a war has been drawn out for decades. A war between two superpowers is just not going to happen.

So who is the most likely nation to get nuked? It will be a western country, guaranteed. However it won't be a traditional nuclear missle that strikes the country, but a dirty bomb instead, and will be delivered by islamic extremists.

Not that I disagree with your premise. But we are talking about a nuke (doesn't have to be missile delivered), not a dirty bomb.

If terrorists get enough weapons grade material [weapons grade being the key words here because it takes big permanent facilities to refine the raw materials to get weapons grade]. Most likely it would be passed to them or sold to them. From NK , Iran or any other country that doesn't like us. I would expect multiple targets most likely highly populated cites that are finical and high tech centers [IE large internet routing hubs] Would have the most impact to the country with the fewest number of bombs. The number could be as low as 3-5 cities would end the superpower status of the country.
