'Enhanced Series' S&W 1911s

I'm convinced of the merits of an external extractor equipped 1911 - it'll be interesting to see if S&W finally 'cracked the code'.

I'm convinced it's an answer without a question.

I'm also curious to see if the external extractor enhances the reliability of Commander and Officer length 1911s.

As am I as I have never had that problem with either length.

YMMV, of course.

I myself am setting some cash aside to order the commander size with bobtail and melonite finish.
