My main questions center around durability. I've never heard of this company before. I assume the main body of the stock is strong enough but what about the latch on the storage compartment. Does it rattle, does it seem like it will take a few years of use and still work.

Can you take a measurement from the back of the receiver to the end of the rubber pad? I'm considering replacing my Vltor A2 modstock, would you say this stock seems to be up to the quality of the Vltor?

    Thanks

I hadn't asked before, but since you have this stock in front of you:

-what kind of quality does the plastic seem like? Something good like that used in standard M4 stocks, or Magpul or VLTOR products, or something that looks/feels not as good?

-does it come with the screw that you need to use to connect it to the buffer tube? (for people wondering why I'm asking, that screw is presumably shorter than the one you use with an A2 stock, so you would otherwise need to buy one separately)

I'm not in a ban state but this stock looks cool and might go well with a 20" rifle build I'm contemplating.

The overall quality of the polymer feels decent, it does not have that cheap feel of imported toys or anything like that. However, I'll also point out that I have not done drop testing or anything else with it.

Mine came with the screw, but mine was not in original packaging and was sent to me by a friend.

I can't give an answer for if it will be as durable as Magpul or Vltor stocks. I would personally like it better if the stock has battery storage tubes, but I know that would bump up the price quite a bit. Maybe down the road they will offer two versions, one with, and one without.

I'm not sure on the length, it might be listed on their website. I can't find the stock at the moment to take a measurement.

Can you mount it up on a work gun, use it to buttstroke doors on a few felony warrant calls and report back?

I was at that booth while a 350lb duffel bag was throwing it up over his shoulder so he could show his friend what that stock could "really do". I can only assume that it was some attempt at a parade drill that he had seen in a movie or video game.

It was a classic example of why SHOT Show should more restricted on many different levels. On a brighter note, I had a great time talking with the guys at Stag, very nice people.

I was thinking maybe people should have a "Party Card", or "Manifesto" or something to get in. Or a permission strip from a Tier 1 trainer...??? Your right something needs to happen. Retinal scans should be a given.

Aren't fat guys that can't properly hold a rifle the primary bread and butter in the AR world???
