Got mine from Brownell's yesterday. Mounted it on my A4 clone. Has a good rugged feel but its not heavy. Fits nice and tight on my LMT lower. Came with a A1 length stock screw. The slightly shorter length is nice and the stock weld with my ACOG is good. I'd definitely recommend this stock for anyone wanting a A1 length fixed stock or anyone who needs a AWB compliant stock.

Now that would be nice. Although the A1 length would be nice for a longer range rig.

Do you have any pics Cagemonkey? Seriously thinking about one of these for a 20" build I'm just getting together. I see Stag offers them them as part a complete stock kit inc buffer tube, buffer, spring and screw for $90 - very tempted.

That's where the money is. But those guys don't need to be at SHOT. They just need to keep spending their money on nonsense.

I agree with STICK. There's too many internut commandouches at SHOT judging by what I read on the forums.

I've never been to SHOT and have ZERO interest in hanging around the ARFcom tards of the world.

I'll try to do some pics in the future. Right now I'm not quite sure about how to go about it.

Still too long for my tastes. Now, if they could make the same design with a intergal carbine reciever extension and make it say the length a a carbine stock 2 clicks out and the added rubber pad would make 3 clicks out I would be interested.

Modern carbine tactics just don't work well with A1 or especially A2 length stocks.

How does this compare to the ace stock in weight and dimension

Can't compare directly to the ACE, but the stock with pad is exactly 10 inches (standard A1 length). I weighed three A1 stocks once, with these findings (including screws).

Early A1 (no internal storage): 17.2 oz
    Later A1: 19.0 oz
    EFX: 21.0 oz
