I just got back from the range and I'm a bit baffled. I was somewhere towards the beginning of my third 30-rounder and the dot in the Bushnell disappeared...WTF? I moved to my irons and kept shooting and the dot came back and after a couple of rounds, would go out and come back on after a couple more and continued on this way until I was done.

My world didn't end but JSantoro's obviously right, and my verification doesn't mean anything of course but if you require dependable optics, don't cut corners.

I am a bit surprised that it went TU that quickly as it was bought new last week. Hopefully my GSG-5 won't be so hard on it .

On the bright side, the UTG mount survived...so far.

For the same price you could have bought a Primary Arms Micro, which has proven to be a very reliable option by many members here in the role you have described.

I bought one for my son's 10/22 and he loves it.
