    CRKT knives are amazing, simple opening and locking system, and I've carried one for years. The SFG varients have expecially useful serrations.

    Amazing? I guess if you call AUS 6, AUS 8, and 440C amazing. They do have good designs, but are hampered by their price point. I personally think they are one step above S&W/Gerber..or any other of a number of WalMart blister packed knives.

    There are very good knives in this price range, such as the Spyderco Tenacious, Benchmade Pika, Boker Trance...and a few others.
