    PRI BUIS?

Does anyone have any experience with the PRI BUIS? What's good and bad about them? Any help is appreciated.

I think they are pretty similar.

    Grant,

Do they lock in the up and down position? Is the profile much higher than the Troy in the down position? Got anymore pictures comparing the two?

I got a rear PRI BUIS just to be different. it locks in the upright position.

it is VERY similar to Troy's and has about the same profile. Very good sight in my Humble opinion.

I bought both Troy and PRI rear BUIS to compare. They are nearly identical, and both are good to go, but I kept the PRI...it is slightly stonger than the Troy, because the windage wheel is on the exterior of the sight protection wing, while the Troy wheel is sunk in, which reduces the wing's thickness by half. A tiny differance, yes, but there you have it.

I chose the PRI front BUIS because it has an M-16 front sight post, while the Troy uses the crappy AK post.

I have PRI and Troy front and rear BUIS.

They are very similar in appearance, although PRI uses hex head screws to secure the mounting brackets, which I prefer.
