From a company called AltaTac, they arent an authorized Aimpoint dealer on the website but sell many different products on Amazon as well as on ebay. I know i took a risk.

here is their amazon feedback link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/seller...03C3V&isPopup=

out of almost 750 reviews no one mentioned anything about a fake product. - same goes for their ebay page

not sure if they can create fake feedback or not..

Did you buy it without the mount? there are a couple people that aimpoint sells to that get to order without the mount. Intended for people who manufacture their own mounts. When they buy this way aimpoint does not package the product as it is meant to be assembled by the buyer, repackaged and then sold.

If this is the case with yours it is real.

One more thing. If you paid 425 or less you got a good deal. If you paid more you could have done better. If you paid less than 400 I would almost guarantee it was fake.

I got it without the aimpoint mount, it came with a KZ-usa mount. Got both the aimpoint and the mount for $400. Im probably going to order a larue mount anyway so i figured i can sell the KZ for maybe $30 or so.

I would just call aimpoint to be sure, then you know 100%.

I did that when I bought my TR24G...I got such a good deal I wanted to double check. Sure enough, it was real.

You have a real Aimpoint. It came from Botach. You got a killer deal too. Getting a "real" mount at this point would be a good idea. KZ is Botach's House bround.

Doubt any one is going to want to buy that mount though... better off throwing it away haha
