I see ADCOR on TOS has made it public so I will repost their words here about their BEAR Elite carbines coming with FN-made hammer-forged, 1/7 chrome-lined barrels...

    From ADCOR:
The Elite series which feature a FN built hammer forged, hard chrome plated barrel will be guaranteed to shoot sub minute of angle with match ammo.

I believe it will prove to be the most accurate production AR rifles on the market.
    More as I get it...

Looked at these at Shot. Might be one of the best piston designs to date (if your into that sort of thing).

I looked at them too. I still wasn't entirely won over by what I saw.

Anyone have any pricing on these yet?

Curious to see just how expensive they're going to be. I would imagine they're probably upwards of 2k but i hope to be proven wrong.

I think retail is like $1900. No idea on dealer cost.

it's a very interesting gun. as i said in the other thread- it's the first time i've ever taken a second glance at a piston. i think adcor is the first ever piston-AR company that seems to be actually engineering their product, rather than just shoe-horning a piston into a DI design.

Not really. I really liked Arnolds PD15 and I liked the 416 in the limited exposure I had with it. I just think that a properly maintained and built DI system will work like it is supposed to and I can get parts on every street corner.

The rifle is very solid. Adcor is a very high quality company. If they can produce upper recievers for Colt, I do believe they can push out quality goods. I spoke to the President and VP for some time at shot gathering all the info I could on this system and am very impressed with Mike Browns design on this one. As someone said, its nice to see a fresh design that works rather than just another remake of the same old thing.

I will be grabbing one up as soon as they hit the market.
