    Thank You!

Let me say how refreshing it is to talk to other enthusiasts who are knowledgeable, polite, rational, non-confrontational, non-aggressive, non-Kool Aid drinkers and are appreciative.

I look forward to being a part of this forum and a part of a group of people that share the love of tactical firearms and respect the opinions of each other.

Welcome to M4Carbine, Ken! If there is ever a group of shooters to give accurate and constructive feedback (sometimes brutally honest), it will be here...

I really look forward to seeing more specs on the B.E.A.R and some public-realm testing of the platform (carbine classes, torture tests, feedback on all the various brands of 5.56mm ammo out there, LEO, security/contractors, etc...) I hope to soon add my comments and feedback as well...

This too, for me, is the piston design I have been watching and I hope it lives up to all it appears to be..

Anyone have one of these IN HAND yet? Would love to hear some feedback on usual quality standards (staking, build quality, fit & finish, etc...)...

Any chance ADCOR will just sell the lowers in MD? I am always on the search for old Armscor lowers (FAL, and AR) marked 'Baltimore MD'.

Also, just a thought, I think you would find a nice market in MD for non-regulated HBAR Sporters.

I saw one on Friday at Pistol Parlor in Phoenix. Fit and finish looked decent with good fit between the upper and lower. I did not notice if the castle nut was staked. I was surprised to see the gun and had credit card in hand ready to purchase when I saw the gun in the rack. That changed once I got to handle it.

The forward charging handle feels awkward and rather flimsy and it looks like something one might actually be able to snag on something and brake. Also, the location is such that the entire left side of the forend is unusable. There's really no way to mount accessories to the left rails that won't be in the way of the charger from what I could see.

Also, the side charger's action seemed stiff and we could not get the bolt to retract entirely by using it. There was no problem with pulling on the conventional charging handle to lock the bolt open but we couldn't get it back far enough with the side charger for some reason.

I think we are are glad to see you here.

How does the BEAR do with suppressors? I haven't found any info on this aspect yet.

Stopped by my local "cop-shop" this morning and was about to put down some cash on a short-barrelled XCR when the manager pulled me to their back room and showed me the ADCORs they had just received... I have to admit I was seriously impressed. The quality and craftsmanship reminds me of the "old" SIGs (Swiss-made). The system is brilliantly simple and executed... No fluf or cheap thrills.
I hope to pick one up next week.
This 16" carbine felt lighter than the LMT MRP DI I used to have (very nice weapon also).

Has anyone gotten one of these yet? Or shot it? How does it compare to LWRC and PWS?

Never being an AR piston guy, I was impressed by it at the NRA convention. If I had a need or a want for a piston, I'd certainly give this one a try.
