Excellent, I've been waiting for these to come out.

I think the x300 might work well as "Scout" style on a long gun. It should be powerful as 6v Scout style lights but a lot lighter...

What are your thoughts on using a X300 on a AR carbine? Will it at least give the same lighting capability as a Scout Light?
