What holster you running? I am using a Safariland 6280 and thinking about upgrading to the 6360. I currently use the X200A on my Glock 22. I am seriously thinking about the X300.

I use the Safariland 6280 for the Glock 21/20 and Surefire X200/X300. Had it initially when I had the X200, but the X300 fits perfectly.

As I noted in the G2 thread, we just started receiving our X300's-very impressive light; seems to have more throw than our G2L's, Scout Light's, and L4's.

    Doc-
Can / Will the 300 replace the 200As as a carbine light? From the descriptions so far, I'm imagining yes but I've yet to get a direct answer.

Yes. The increased power and the beam make it more handy for use on a Carbine than the X200. I still use my X200 on my home gun. But for my duty pistol and rifle the X300 is the way to go and exceeds my needs!

Concur--I would not feel bad about running one on a SBR or other weapon for the 100 yd and in fight.

Agree. I intend to put them on several different long guns as I feel that they do a very good job for what I need.
