AR Lower Receiver FDE Coating and Possibly Engraving

Hey all, I'm new to the forums and I was hoping to get some advice or direction on something I'm wanting to do to my AR this winter. I'm interested in just having the lower receiver coated FDE, preferably to match Magpul's FDE but anything decently close will work, and an engraving on the right side of the receiver. I have done a lot of searching around and I haven't been able to find a lot but I did come across Iron Ridge Arms company which seems to do both coatings and engraving; so I emailed them last week and I have yet to hear a response.

Do you guys have any recommendations of a good reliable place where I could have this done? I know some people do it themselves but I am too afraid to mess up my lower receiver and end up with a crappy looking gun LoL. Thanks a lot.

At the moment IRA isnt making any 5.56 receivers. At the moment once thy are only making .308 recievers. Once they get caught up with those. They will begin working on making 5.56 receivers.

Well I wasn't wanting them to make me one I was wanted to send mine in so they could engrave it and coat it and then send it back to me. I just assumed they did that by the way their website is set up, it makes it sound like they do engraving and coating for people that already have a gun or receiver.

Got ya sorry misunderstood your post... Im pretty sure they can do that. I think JD Machine and Loki weapon systems also offer those kind of services.

I don't know if they anodized in house most places will send that out to be done.
The only place that I am aware of that sells FDE anodized receivers is NoDak Spud. http://www.nodakspud.com/newstuff.htm

Reread your post you looking for coating sorry [Smack hand on face].

I have actually decided to go the duracoat route, I received my magpul FDE and matte clear yesterday and will be doing it this weekend.

I'll definitely post up pictures once I finish; anyone have any good advice for me before I start this weekend?
