Cause any accuracy issues with your barrel, or any issues in general with the barrel?

Barrel was SS & is fine, No issues at all. Wouldn't hesitate to do the same with any other w/ Rockset.

Just a little boiling water for a few minutes.
Water boils at 100C/212F Sea Level, much lower than any temp. treatment or shooting condition the barrel would see.

OK, I did it and removed the AAC Blackout. The barrel got pretty darn hot!! Only had it in for 5 minutes after boiling. Kept the temp on high. Wasn't easy, bit a little elbow grease and it came off. I'm actually thinking of selling the AAC Blackout. I just want to check with you buys and make sure the heat wouldn't cause and issue or deform it so that it would be unsafe. Thanks.

Boiling water is not going to do any damage to the blackout or the barrel.
Both would get far hotter during normal use with live ammo.
