See, if these PI's had a hair on their ass, they would have done the following:

Create a false identity by obtaining a driver's license in a sanctuary state.

Then, go into the gun store and fill out a bogus 4473.

Sort of like Mexican gangs currently do!

New Jersey Dem Lautenberg urges end to ‘gun-show loophole’
    ....
Lautenberg’s proposal is co-sponsored by Sens. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), John Kerry (D-Mass.), Carl Levin (D-Mich.), Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), Jack Reed (D-R.I.), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) and Ron Wyden (D-Ore.).
So much for that NRA A-rating for Gillibrand.
"It makes no difference what men think of war, said the judge. War endures. As well ask men what they think of stone. War was always here. Before man was, war waited for him. The ultimate trade awaiting its ultimate practitioner."

Bloomberg is a fascist asshole who seeks to control the lives of everyone and uses the NYPD as his personal good squad.

I saw that NG special. It made me sick. Cops tooling around in body armor and balaclavas is complete and utter bullshit. Oh yeah, I'm sure they prevented alot of terrorist attacks

It sickens me to see what my home city has turned into. I don't even want to go back there anymore.

Go the mayors website and you can send him an email. I did. I told him that I hope he broke the law and that I have asked the Arizona AG to investigate his shenanigans.

Perhaps someone is listening. According to an article posted on Fox News, the AZ Attorney General is taking a very dim view of Bloomberg's activities in AZ. There may be repercussions.

Bloomberg was told in no uncertain terms by the Virginia Attorney General to stop his illegal trolling/activism in this state. He just went further west.
    Principles matter.

Yes, because it sounds like trying to buy a gun using false documents may be a crime.

As far as the state lines go, I'm fuzzy on that, so that I'll leave to someone with more knowledge of federal gun laws.

I don't know where (state) the investigators came from, or if they produced Arizona ID cards, etc. There are so many holes in the reporting.

I also feel that if this was a criminal investigation, the whole thing would have to of been conducted drastically different.

Bottom line is that it was and is a political stunt.

It's the taxpayer money that pisses me off. I'm sure with budgets as they are, this money could have been spent much better.
You should be pissed that a city mayor is usurping the authority of the federal .gov across state lines. The "investigators" hired by Bloomie seem to be conducting a straw purchase to me. They're buying guns at the behest of someone from another state. BATFE has told him to stop before, yet he intends to do whatever he damned well pleases. He's a completely arrogant asshole and he needs to be stopped!

You think so? Because to me it seems perfectly legal, you know, as long as you're just trying to help people by getting rid of that evil gun show loophole!!
