As far as I know you must be a resident of the state to purchase a handgun. Unless the transaction is conducted through a licensed dealer to include the transfer.

At any rate, if anything illustrates the anti's need to skew the truth to make their case, I think their continued use of the term "gun show loophole" sums it up best. The things they say are a loophole have nothing to do with gun shows, it's just where people go to find the most buyers or most sellers so they can get the best deal--and at this point, only if they're uncomfortable with selling a firearm online.
