You're right. Marvin Pitts and KAC are so TOSish but photog/safari vests, TDU's, and 5.11 are so M4Cish!

The response to "not do the dimpling," came from office personel. I think I am going to verify whether John will void my warranty on the barrel before I make the decision. If he won't void, I will ask them to send it off for me. Otherwise, I will not do it.
So does it void the Noveske warranty or not? Thinking about having this done to my 11.5" barrel.

Since this one has already been resurrected...
I want to to see pics of that colt barrel, mine needs to loose weight.
So, the dimpling should incease surface area, allow for faster cooling, obviously reduce weight and I would think increase accuracy. Now, somewhere on the Internets, I heard the accuracy wouldn't improve, but actually get worse...I don't understand that one.
