    RRA Predator Pursuit rifle questions

I plan on attending two long range/sniper courses this year. One is only out to 400 and the other is 600. I had planned on building a SPR Mk12 Mod 0 clone cause I've always liked the looks of them but after I priced it out I got a little sticker shock. Then I came across the RRA Predator Pursuit. I can get a complete rifle for several hundred less then just the upper I had spec'd out. So does anyone have any experience with this model? It says it has a 20 inch heavy match air gauged stainless barrel with 1/8 twist. Think this rifle will hold moa at 600 with Black Hills match 75 or 77 grainers?

How much were you quoted for the RRA? From the looks of it, they usually average about $1000-1100. That being said, you can get the following for around $1100:

    BCM SS410 18" URG - $729
BCM charging handle and BCG - $135
Palmetto Armory stripped lower - $80
    Stag LPK - $65
    A2 rifle stock - $100

That's a whole lot better than what you'd get from RRA, me thinks.

I have my ffl so I can get the RRA for $880. I was comparing that to around $1300 for a Mk12 Mod 0 clone just the upper alone. I hadn't looked at that $729 BCM upper but you're right that would only be slightly more then the RRA.

NICE! I'm either going to get the BCM or a Noveske, but I think I'm going to end up with the BCM since it's such a good value and lots of people rave about it.

    Josh, long time no speak!

How about a Noveske Rogue Hunter 18" upper (MSRP $985)?
You should be able to get that price down quite a bit with your FFL.
I had a RRA Predator Pursuit and it was cumbersome to maneuver and heavy. My Rogue Hunter is light years better!!!

The specific model, no experience but the barrel is the same that my daughter uses on her RRA NMA4. It will hold moa at 600 with BH match 77, this is the only round that my daughter uses.

Something to note, when she first got the rifle, about every third round would be a flyer on the rapid fire. The Marine Armor discovered that the gas tube was barely touching the barrel sleeve, once he filed off some of the sleeve, the flyers went away.
