While I agree that the Federal Government is dangerously out of bounds in certain areas I think all other options should be tried before this kind of thing becomes law.

This is the kind of stuff that leads to another Civil War.

While I agree that such decisions should not be made capriciously, it is no longer a Union if it must be maintained by force.

I think people are misunderstanding the intentions. There is nothing about "succeeding" here unless something changed from what I read.

What they are saying is that if the feds pass laws that do not pass the smell test (exceeding their constitutional authority) Arizona is going to ignore them.

I believe that other states have talked about such stuff in the past as well. Maybe if all of the other states were so bold, the federal government would pull its' head out of our ass and start focusing.
