Grant at G&R Tactical allows some customization of LPKs. You can order a kit from him minus the trigger/hammer group and buy whichever trigger you want separately. I don't believe his kit includes a grip either so again you can get whatever you want separately.

Mine drops all my mags free (Pmags, Rev Ms, USGI, etc) Build went together just fine. The rear takedown pin spring hole was also threaded(although I didn't use it).

I think a lot of people worry about stupid stuff like what brand their lower reciever is, what roll mark it has on it etc... As long as the lower is in spec the lower is in spec... The only ones to really avoid are Olympic Arms and Hesse. A stripped lower is a stripped lower is a stripped lower. What matters is what kind of parts you put in it. A lot of lowers come from the same few manufacturers anyway.

Buy the cheapest one you can find thats known to be in spec and put a quality LPK in there. My BCM mid length upper resides on a CMMG lower that I was given for free. Mags drop free just fine, it plugs into my upper great, and it holds my LPK just fine. Does it have the latest in style tacticool roll mark on it? No. But it does the exact same thing a $180 Noveske lower does, though.

When shit goes sidways the last thing I'm going to be thinking about is what roll mark is on the side of my lower. Just get out and shoot... take the money you saved from buying a cheap lower and throw it towards a high quality optic, more ammo or a nicer upper. A stripped lower is probably one of the least important parts of the whole build, meaning it's pretty hard to screw it up.

The problem lies in determining whether the lower in question is in spec, which I think is what the OP was doing. There are more bad lowers around than Vulcan or Hesse. Ask anyone who bought from Roggio. A quick check on a respected forum seems like just due diligence. That being said, if I was looking for cheap lowers, PSA or Aero Precision would probably be my choice. However, I like the BCM Blems from Grant at G & R, as you can configure them online, and they show up at your FFL ready to slap on an upper and shoot.
