I really CANNOT stress enough how insanely blown away I was when hearing and shooting the .45 Ti-Rant, guys. And even though it's 9 inches, it's also Titanium, so it's probably very close to, if not lighter, in weight to other shorter brands/models, which are almost all inferior to this .45 can (if not all, although I hear the SilencerCo .45 Osprey is awesome, too).
It's also crazy how effective the .45 Ti-Rant is at suppressing muzzle flash under Night Vision optics. It's fairly easy to suppress/hide flash from the naked eye with suppressors, but under NVD's it's almost always a different story. The .45 Ti-Rant pretty much eliminated all the muzzle flash, as you can see in my video posted above.
I know it sounds like I have a love affair with this particular can, but I've honestly never seen or personally experienced such an effective suppressor before... ever. My new SilencerCo .22 Sparrow comes close though, as it's the best .22 can out there IMHO. But it's a lot harder to bring down the dB level of a .45 cal round, as evidenced by all the other horrible sounding .45 cans out there, including AAC's previous .45 can (sorry, just being honest here).
I plan on shooting it wet next time (using wire pulling gel, not water) to see/hear how it performs. Looking forward to that!
