    5.56MM 62gr Barrier VS 223 62gr. Barrier

    Looking at the Geltesting Hornady did useing there Barrier 62gr bullet
    In 223rem pressure & Nato pressure

    Is the larger cavity worth it with loss of penetration?


    Distance to bare gel is 30feet

    At what distance does the 62 gr projectile launched at a MV of 2910 f/s slow to 2740 f/s? What are your potential engagement distances?

    Also, there are better loads available...unless you get this for free, consider picking something else if appropriate for your applications...

    The hornady catalog says 30 feet distance

    What Im wondering ??

    with 5.56 pressure loads do Soft Points travel less distance?
    Compared to 223rem pressure loads with same SP bullet

    The above seems to tell me this? But Im not a pro like yourself


    BTW
    Doc I went with the Fusion 62gr

    I order 5 boxes. (I wanted TBBC 62 but cant find any)
