Looks like mid year 2011+/- for the MRP barrels!

No order given for now, but initially will be either 12.5 or 16" then options thereafter.

This looks good for us MRP users. Hopefully, AAC/Remington or others will develope specific hunting ammunition soon to compliment their release.

I hope 10.5" will be an option...or maybe gas port size won't be as critical like in a 5.56 and the 12.5" can be cut down?

Yes, everything about a 300 BLK AR is standard 5.56 except the barrel itself. Same mags, bolt, carrier, etc.

The above is the first post of the thread from Feb 2011. Now it looks like mid year 2012 (a year late). Will be nice when they are finally available and glad they are doing the most current 1x7. Ammo availability and quality has progressed by leaps and bounds in the mean time.
