All of GM profits should be going back to repay the taxpayer. Returning GM to being a private company again.

Correct. Which is ONE of the reasons why they are so screwed up.

We need to roll back the regulations and laws that make unions so powerful and such a menace. If they are so good, show me the American steel mill that has been opened in the past 20 years instead of closed.

What is it a bad thing that they sit in a AC/Heated shack, playing PS3 and making $70K year bad.

I should mail my Congress-critters and request a bill to tax these bonuses at 90%. We have precedence from last year with AIG. AIG even had a better leg to stand on, since its bonuses were previously agreed to contractual "obligations", from what I read.

I know a few friends who were forced to close their companies and lay off ALL their workers when GM didn't pay and told them they would never pay...

So Fxxxx GM and Obama Motors!

I will never buy a GM vehicle...

And dumping the pensions of non-union workers at Delphi onto PBGC...15000 employees will see probably less than 30% of the pension GM promised them.

Back when companies hired private gunmen to solve problems and could put dead or alive bounties on peoples heads:

Doesn't the State of Connecticut own a majority of Colt, err should I say the das People/Workers of Connecticut?

Since we got a little sub thread here…… I bet the UAW will also get Colt out of participating with Obama care as well!

Agreed. They've been doing it for decades. Every major city in the US that has heavy union presences is unequivocally ****ed, and they have the nerve to keep asking for more.
