I'm diggin yours more than mine..I got the MRP just to try out the whole piston hype and for being a SBR, it's heavier than I want it to be..Not unbearable heavy but, noticable..

Im with you on the piston thing I got the MRP to try a piston. Its to heavy and Im now in the process of buying a new BCG from Grant (BCM) and barrel still up in the air on that one 14.5 pinned or 16 maybe even the 18"

I've read through this thread to hold me over for a while.

I won the LMT CQB MRP that they were giving away at the SHOT Show

. Unfortunately it won't be here for another week or two. Did I mention, LMT rocks!

I more than likely going to get the 14.5" and have it cut down to 12.5 then reprofiled into a light weight..

Thanks! Before the SHOT Show LMT sent out an e-mail inviting people to come to their booth to allow them to scan your show ID. A randomly selected winner would take home a complete CQB MRP as the prize. Honestly, I had almost completely forgotten about this until recently when LMT sent a mass e-mail announcing the winner. When I opened my e-mail and saw my name and company info inside I literally stared at the screen for 30 seconds in disbelief as my heart rate slowly increased. I called LMT asking if this was some kind of cruel joke and was told "No sir, we're not bullshitting you. Congratulations, you won the MRP."

So in a week or two I should be receiving my new toy from LMT. Before this I was on the fence about which .308 AR to purchase, but now LMT has my loyalty and my money. I can't say "thanks" enough to the good folks at LMT.
