Not at all Brother. I've been accussed of shilling for LWRC before and wanted to get it out in the open that I have absolutely zero professional relationship with them.

    LWRC vs. Noveske

I have been looking around the net at different rifles. I was wondering what other thought of the comparison of the 10.5" LWRC and the 10.5" Noveske?

Are you talking about the Noveske N4 Light rifle or the N4 CQB version? The N4 Light rifle would be more compable to the LWRC 10.5 as it's more of their entry level version. The CQB has a stainless barrel I believe and is more than likely of higher quality than a standard rack grade weapon.

For a first rifle or entry level rifle I would strongly recommend sticking with a 16" mid-length variant of any AR style rifle, preferably LMT or Colt for the first AR IMO. It's probably the most versatile length for the the AR platform. You are already aware of the start up costs like mags, ammo, training, etc. that you will also have to get up front. You also don't have to worry about getting CLEO signoffs, setting up businesses, trusts, tax stamps, and/or doing NFA/ ATF paperwork. I would also get more familiar with the platform and then buy to your future wants or needs.

Like someone else said... at some point it's just best to jump in the game, see how it's played, and go from there. I hope all this information is helping you out but it's possible some point you will be more confused than before from information overload.

I have already decided that I am going to get an LMT rifle. I am just saving up my pennies in order to get one. While I am saving my pennies I am going to continue to look around and see what is out there in the realm of ARs. I am seriously considering a 10.5" rifle due to the fact once I get my approval for an SBR lower I can add any upper I want and with the change of government coming I would rather be ahead of the game than behind in the game.

Save your pennies for the LWRC. I have LMT, Colt, JP, and BM. And the major diff is how cool and clean it runs. Saw no diff in accuracy and it will eat whatever ammo I feed it. Plan to sell my other ARs for their 308 and buy another 223 rifle.

But not a significant better, imo All the advantages of an M4 with reduced maintenance time, longer parts life, a cooler running operating system, and reduced/eliminated powder gases during suppressed and unsuppressed operation. That's like free cake man! It's like free cake that costs at least 2X as much

I don't make a nickel for "endorsing" LWRC. I don't get free guns or uppers for "endorsing" LWRC. I am just a very satisfied customer that has found a product that greatly improves upon an existing system.

Neither Colt or LMT offer a conventional AR with a mid-length gas system.

The LMT MRP is available with a mid-length gas system when you get the 16" or 18" barrels.

That's assuming if the Democrats get into office that they just don't ban everything. No one said they'll grandfather anything, NFA or not.

In which case they would have a rebellion on their hands. A very well armed rebellion.
