    Questions about Colt AR-15 10" SBR's

I'm looking to get a Colt AR-15 SBR with around a 10" barrel.
I do a lot of hiking and driving outdoors and I like the idea of getting an SBR because it'd be small and light, just throw it over my shoulder and go or jump in and out of the truck and be ready. I'd probably put an Aimpoint T1 on it and that'd be it.
I purchased a Colt 6940 right when they came out and was impressed with the fit/finish and reliability but didn't care for the rail that much so I sold it.
I've got the Colt bug again and want a gun with the pony on it
What "factory" options do I have for a Colt AR-15 SBR?
Is the 6933 currently the only SBR factory rifle that Colt makes?
I live in Arizona and have done business with Specialized Armament before and on their website they have a few custom 10" offerings as well.
So are my choices for an SBR Colt AR-15 either the 6933 or a custom job?
    Thanks

Pretty sure that the only factory SBR that Colt offers to the public is the 6933 which is a 11.5 not 10"...

I went to Grant and bought two LMT 10.5's at a great price.

Yes you're 100% right and I've since edited my original post.
I'm looking for something around 11.5"-10" length (small and compact). Factory built is what I seek but I don't know a ton about Colts so I'm not sure what my options are at this point.

These are your options. Buy a Colt 6933 and then have the rail of your choice installed. SAW will do just about whatever (AFAIK) if you pay for it.

The other option is to do a build. My SBR is essentially all BCM and it cost me less to build it with all the options than what a 6933 with tax cost. If you build it using quality parts it will run.

I take my SBR on the road, hiking and camping. I also shoot it quite frequently.

(darnit didn't realize this should have gone in the NFA section, sorry)
    Thanks for the advice.
I've been thinking and I'm not even sure a rail would be necessary. I've always had them installed on every AR I've owned but usually because it was the "thing to do" and I think I liked the way they looked more than anything but mounted at the most maybe one accessory on them. Usually just a VFG which I'm 50/50 on (I could use it but don't need it) or a light. A rail is a handy place to mount a sling swivel to on the side tho, much better than the FSB sling loop.. hmm.
Sounds like SAW does the same type of work as Specialized Armament. I've heard of that company before but what is the full name so I can google it?

Specialized Armament and SAW are one in the same. Colt does not offer a complete rifle with a barrel less than 11.5 inches but I believe SAW will have the MK18 CQBR upper kits which have 10.3 inch barrels.

haha OK thanks for clarifying that
They don't mention the 6933 on their website at all but maybe they can order it.

You could also go the Noveske route where you buy the stripped lower and build it up as desired. Send it back to Noveske along with your paperwork, fingerprint cards and check for $200.00. Purchase 10.5" light shorty basic (MK18) upper and Noveske will assemble to your lower, test fire, then submit the paperwork to NFA branch. Once tax stamp arrives, Noveske will ship the whole shootin' match back to you. No engraving and no 3rd party transfer. See following link for more details:

    Is "MK18" kind of a general term for a 10.5" barrel/upper?
The actual MK18 the military uses should be a Colt and KAC parts, right? But Noveske and SAW make equivalents they're calling "MK18's" that are similar but are not made from actual 10.5" Colt barrels or KAC rails.
