Who is making the most accurate DMR Uppers?

I am ready to buy a 18" or 16" upper for a DMR. I have been looking at the Bravo Company SPR MK 12 Upper 18" but after contacting them today they will not make any guarantee for accuracy. While looking at Wilson Combat they claim 1", LaRue OBR claims .5 moa and Les Bear says 2 5 shot groups at .5" 100 yards. I am looking at $1200 or so on an upper only so I want it to be the best I can get.

I have 16" LMT M4 style uppers...but I am looking for an upper that will shoot the best I can out to 600 yards (mostly inside of 300 yards) with a 1-4 or 1-8 optic. I intend to take some carbine and precision rifle classes as well as use it for 3 gun competitions. I do not need a bunch of rails but I do want it to be as light as possible. I noticed the OBR complete is over 9lbs with out an optic...I am hoping to keep it at or under 9lbs with an optic.

Suggestions and what uppers I should be looking at.

FYI the lower is milspec, wilson combat trigger and LMT SOPMOD stock.

    Thanks guys!

I don't know about the standard SPR, but the Rogue Hunter upper weighs 4 3/4 pounds. The rifle weight about 7 pounds. The main difference between the two models is mainly the rail and gas block.

Does it really matter? I mean seriously are you going to be humping it in Afghanistan or somewhere else for miles?

On a different note I could careless what Wilson or Les Baer claims. I wouldn't buy anything AR related from them. JM2CW.

Not enough AR experience? Is that your line of thinking?

The reason why Larue, Wilson Combat, and Les Bear offer you a guaranteed claim on accuracy is because they are willing to bullshit the potential customer more than BCM is. I have no problem or allegiance to any of those 4 companies.

BCM is just willing to tell you that they have no clue how the heck you shoot personally, and moreover they have no idea what bells and whistles folks are gonna be slapping on their upper/rifle.

Claiming accuracy is really dishonest in my book, so much should go into an honest claim and it's such a case by case basis that I am getting pissed off even talking about the illegitimacy of the practice.

So I'll end it on a good note and commend BCM's honesty.

Nope not going to be humping it in a sand box however when you start doing 1000 plus round count 4 day plus training classes you tend to want less weight! So that is my thought process there...I have a Wilson Combat CQB Tactical Elite which is simply perfection...also shot several of their shotguns and looked at but not shot their AR...I would find it hard to believe that they are not putting out a good product.

The reason the La Rue is so accurate is because of the Lothar Walter barrel they use. For a ton less money and quite a bit lighter I would order up a Spikes Tactical upper with a Lothar Walter LW 50 barrel. They have what u are looking for right on there website
