Just after I finished my 18" SPRish AR this new AAC upper showed up locally for an even trade. Now the excruciating wait for ordered ammo to arrive. I've tried my spare TR24 on all my shorties, but just think it looks too out of proportion. Probably going to end up with a RD or 3x Acog.

I have a talent for bad photography.

Yep, when your optic is longer than your barrel something is amiss

Now that the 18" is history, I have no use for this 2-12 so... Although the gold stripe rubs me wrong.

Lopro, what is the weight with brace, without optic? What is overall length?

Haven't weighed it yet. But it's lightttt. It's a hair over 27" long with the gen 2 guntec tube on an 11.5" barrel.

Not sure how bad the tuning fork noise will be, It hasn't been fired yet. Its not too loud when tapping it with a screw driver.
