Would anyone mind sharing their overall length? I would like to use a DD 10.3 upper with phase 5 buffer tube and stay under 26" OAL.

I built two pistols, both used a standard pistol buffer tube with 10.5" bbl and they both came in slightly under 26". I have since modified them with the Kak tube and Sig Brace to get them over the 26" length requirement. They are at 26.5" using the KAK extended tubes, not sure if the Phase 5 is standard carbine length, if so, you will be close, but should be just under 26"

Pretty sure OAL has to be measured from the end of the KAK tube (not the removable brace) to the end of the barrel, (or the muzzle device if it is pinned). The extensions just move the brace back, but don't extend the tube, correct?

That would be correct. The receiver extension as is the barrel, is a permanent part of the rifle. I know they can be removed but not instantly/easily. For the same reason flash hiders do not add to the over all length of the barrel unless pinned/welded.
