    Noveske N4 pistol

Noveske N4 pistol with Short Carrier recoil system.

The bolt carrier and receiver extension are shortened 1.4" and a special stainless buffer body is used to keep the operating mass the same as a standard carbine. The extra weight of the stainless buffer body makes up for the lighter weight of the shortened carrier. The full buffer sliding weights (H2), and a standard carbine spring fit the cyclic rate and reliability of the standard carbine system in a smaller package.

The buffer is captured in the tail of the bolt carrier and there is no buffer retainer. The upper cannot be "shotgunned" on the lower. Both the pivot pin and take down pin must be opened and the upper is removed forward and up at about 45 deg from the lower.

There is also the possibility of a PDW receiver extension and short stock using the same compact recoil system.

This actually interests me far more than the idea of an AR pistol.

I agree on the PDW stock, it's something I would like to see happen.

    7.5" barrel on this model.

If you're testing the water on this I think you should ask in a more well traveled section of the forum. But yes, I'm absolutely interested.
