I have a set that I am perfectly satisfied with. I've not put them through any particularly grueling courses of fire, but they strike me as a solid design, well-built, and easy to use. I had no trouble dialing them in, and they have held zero without any trouble. Samson or not, I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't make my "recommended" list.

I had this same experience with a NF 1-4x NXS. Not a major issue by any means, but just something that I noticed when using certain lens caps and/or mounts.

Thanks to everyone who posted. Your responses have been very helpful.

Find ManBearPig! I don't have an Aimpoint yet, but I plan to add one at some point. As a matter of fact I'm still building the rifle in question so the Aimpoint will be a little way off yet. I plan to run the rifle with just the iron sights for a while to get the hang of them before adding the Aimpoint.

Thanks AC. The bold part above was my inital impression as well, but given my lack of experience I thought it best to try to find others who had used them and see what their experiences/impressions were.
