    This just raised the bar.

As much as I like BCM/DD & other vendors, Colt is the standard everyone(well maybe not everyone) strives to reach and/or exceed.

    Good news for buyers

Now if they would only make a 14.5 light wt. middie & a 20" light wt.

and a light wt. in 6.8 with a Spec II chamber a 1:11 twist and chrome
    line the bore & chamber

It is legal to hunt, kill, and eat porcupines, armadillos and badgers in Texas.

Was surprised at how low the prices on the uppers were then I noticed they were the recently announced SP variants rather than the LE ones. As I recall it's been confirmed that there are no real differences...just thought it was interesting and in that context the pricing was less surprising. If nothing else, it's nice to see Colt start becoming more competitive (at least price wise) with other vendors.

This is pretty cool, but I can't help but prefer the options that Bravo Company offers that Colt does not. Hammer forged lightweight barrels, mid-length gas systems, etc.

Good move by Colt, but they need another move or two to catch up.

That being said, I still love my 6920.
