I have a MagPul MBUS on the rear and a cheap old NCStar flip up on the front. No issues and sighted in very easily and is very accurate.

The only thing you need to worry about is that the sight plane of each match once they are installed.
There is no AR Fashion Police to crash in your front door to revoke your Man Card for installing sights that clash with each other
I wish there was a chart for BUIS.
Rob? Rob? You listening, Rob?
LOL! but for serious that was my main concern and it leads me to a question that i hope i can ask in such a way so that it makes sense. Is there a standard for sight heights ? I have a YHM flip up front sight gas block and i want a simple rear sight. Do i have to "match" them or would it be safe to conclude that any rear sight would line up. From what your saying it sounds like no and its basically a crap shoot. id rather not buy and return things needlessly.

I have a Yankee Hill folding Front sights on my M&P15; and a UTG fixed rear sight that is adjustable in both windage AND Elevation. "The reason I wanted one adjustable in elevation, because: a) Different manufacturer front sight might be off significantly. and b) It's much easier to adjust the rear sight for elevation than the front sight. By the way: Both sights work perfectly. They maintain their sighting in and are sturdy.
