Noveske N6 NST Version, my competition 308/Heavy Optics stick, with pics.

Todd K at Noveske worked with me to come up with a light weight 18" barrel to add to the NST line of competition rifles. Here it is all done:

    Specs:

Noveske 18" SS barrel, NST profile
Young MFG NM Carrier, 308 version
    SureFire 762 Brake
    Magpul PRS
    Troy 308 rail
    G.A. SD-E trigger
    S-B ShortDot LE
    Bobro Mount

It gets put to the test in a few weeks out in Mesa, AZ at SMM3G. Lots of Heavy Optics shooters out there, will see how it goes. So far shoots very well with 155 grain A-Maxs.

My previous Heavy Optics got milled out to work with a BAD Lever, I will have our Smith mill out a BAD lever slot for this upper too.

Once the 1x8 SB SD arrives, I will swap it out for the 1x4 that Im using for this year at the moment.

Looks great how do you like the stock? Living here in NY and wanting to buy an ar pattern rifle in 308 my stock options are pretty narrow.

I prefer the Magpul PRS due to the adjustment capabilities and the way it balances out my rifle. Its all I use at the moment.

I bet that is one tack driving SOB, that is one nice rig for damn sure

Any reason why you are running the Bobro over the normal NST's ADM recon mounts?

I love the hat! Sheri is such a helpful and nice lady.

I like the Bobro mounts a lot. I had this one on my previous heavy optic rifle with a Swaro Z6i, but sold the Z6i last year when we got a optics sponsor, and just kept the same mount with the same set up. My tac optics rifle uses an ADM mount.

As for Sheri, she rocks, much like that hat.

Sweet. For some reason I thought you guys were going with Apex Tactical rails on the .308 guns.

I'll be using a 308 Heavy/Optics gun for some matches this year too. Mine will have a ASTX 308 lower and I'll assemble up the upper (DPMS/Remington) very likely with a Troy TRX tube. I want to go with a Noveske bbl too.
