    Flared Mag Wells

Noveske, DD, S&W, and now Spikes all feature lowers with flared mag wells. Are there any other sources of forged lowers with flared wells?

I think there is a notable difference between altering the angle of the magwell cut, and actually flaring it out.
    Stick

Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

OK, that's an interesting response. As I'm compiling parts for a carbine build I've got most of my decisions made except for the lower. So what is the difference between altering the angle and actually flaring it out? More importantly, what is the significance of the difference?
