And I was just askin'. I wasn't concerned about a kB! or about feeding my G19 ball ammo -- I simply wanted to hear from others who've had experience with the round. That's what I got...and I still haven't bought any.

Would it be comparable to Winchester's RA9124N Ranger round?

9mm NATO is really just a pressure rating:

    9mm Luger (US commercial standards)
    9mm Para (European standards)
    9x19 NATO

    SAAMI:
    9MM Luger = 35,000 psi / 9MM Luger +P = 38,500 psi

    NATO:
    9x19mm NATO = 41,415 psi

NATO Performance requirement: at 15 meters, can pierce 5 mild steel 1mm thick plates situated at 5cm one from the other.

SAAMI does not have a +P+ pressure rating. +P+ ammo is loaded to whatever the manufacturer wants.

Most NATO ammo is not loaded anywhere near the maximum pressure. The penetration requirement for NATO ammo can be achieved at lower pressures. NATO ammo is typically in the 34,000 to 38,000 psi range.

Yes. It's the same round. I have some Q4318 and the Ranger stuff.
