I have a few P-Mags but I mainly use USGI's: NHMTG, Center & OKay all w/ Magpul followers. Most of them have CS springs, which will rust but I've never had a problem with them rusting more than a little spot or two. Someone posted some CS springs that looked like they must have had salt water on them, they were completely covered in thick rust...really bad. I haven't seem anything like that...yet.

I have spare SS springs to change the CS springs out if I start having problems with a mag.

Besides older USGI mags with CS springs, there's nothing else to rust and from what I understand, new USGI mags have SS springs.

    But maybe it's just me...

Well i bought 2 D&H ind. mags for $11 at a pawn shop. The owner, a young gentlemen said they were the only ones left and he wanted to get rid of them, also saying they stopped buying USGI mags and had switched to carrying polymer mags. "I can get you brand new Pmags for only $21" he mentioned as i paid .... No thank you. They are gray teflon with green followers. I ordered some magpul followers but the green ones did ok at the range. Very pleased with my choice to switch over.

The D&H mags should serve you well. I've had good luck with them (from Bravo Company), Brownell's and obviously pmags which are my go to. Just remember that mags are disposable wear items and will need to be replaced at some point.

$21 for pmags, that's a steal you should have jumped on. I kid of course but it did make me think of this insanity.
